Block A Evacuation

On the 7 of September the Ministry of Education came to Dannevirke South School and checked the school to see if it was safe or not. They said that the year one, two and room seven were not safe because there were no steel rods in the roof so the roof was sitting on the walls. They set up the classes in the hall and sent some class too the year four classes for the day.They even put carpet in the hall for the classes.

The evacuation has affected a lot of staff.  Mr. Snell has no office to work in. Princes filerper has no office to do clay work in. Ms clark has no library to work in. The office ladies have to move to a protycom bye the front gate.

Block A has Evacuated. A lot of stuff has happened around the school. The office got moved to room tens office and the staff room went to its temporary staff room in the hall on the stage. Some classes went to Tortara College. The launch bay got put out of bounds so they put seats around the classes for when it is launch. The library has closed. So if we want books we had to go to the town library instead.

There have been many other changes to the school like no canteen, no library and no assembly. So no class items, commendations and that stuff.
